Professional Pool Services

Pool Cleaner Cleaning a Pool

Pool Cleaning Service

South Amboy sits right on Raritan Bay, and the salt air and bay breeze keep a steady supply of grit, leaves, and debris moving toward your pool all season.

Our weekly pool cleaning service covers the full checklist on every visit: water testing and balancing, vacuuming, brushing, skimming, basket and skimmer cleaning, and a full equipment inspection. The same crew comes the same day each week, so nothing slips between visits.

Every sanitizing chemical your pool needs is included at one flat weekly rate, with no surprise surcharges. The Complete Maintenance Package extends that to cover your spring opening and fall closing too.

Swimming Pool Repair Service

Swimming Pool Repair Service

Close to half of South Amboy’s homes were built before 1950, so a lot of the pools here run on equipment that has been working far longer than it was ever designed to.

Our swimming pool repair service covers pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, chlorinators, plumbing, and new safety cover supply and installation. We work on all major brands, including Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and Sta-Rite, and supply new equipment at competitive pricing.

Older single-speed pumps no longer meet federal efficiency rules, so a failed motor is the right moment to switch to a variable-speed unit that runs quieter and cuts your energy use. And with the bay so close, salt air and storm exposure make a sound safety cover before winter a smart move for any South Amboy pool owner.

South Amboy’s Rich History

South Amboy was built by the railroad. The Stevens family brought the John Bull steam locomotive from England and helped launch the Camden and Amboy Railroad here around 1831, making the small Raritan Bay city a key terminal where rail met the bay. For more than a century it was a busy transportation and industrial town, and that heritage still shows along its waterfront and in its old downtown. Today South Amboy is writing a new chapter: Raritan Bay Waterfront Park opened in 1998 with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, and in 2023 a NY Waterway ferry began carrying commuters straight across the bay to New York City.

Neighborhoods and Streets

South Amboy is a compact bayfront city defined by its rail and waterfront. These are the areas locals know best:
The Raritan Bay waterfront is anchored by Waterfront Park and the new Manhattan ferry terminal.
Downtown along Broadway is the city’s historic commercial center.
The train station district has been the city’s gateway since its railroad heyday.
The older residential blocks hold much of the city’s pre-1950 housing.

Community and Lifestyle

South Amboy keeps the feel of a tight-knit small city, where the train has run to New York for generations and the new ferry now does the same across the water. Raritan Bay Waterfront Park gives residents one of the best skyline views in the region, and the walkable downtown along Broadway anchors daily life. It is a town with deep roots and a waterfront that is finding new energy.

Getting Around South Amboy

Few small cities are as well connected as South Amboy, by rail, ferry, and road.
The South Amboy station on NJ Transit’s North Jersey Coast Line runs direct to Newark and New York Penn Station.
The NY Waterway ferry, launched in 2023, carries riders across the bay to Lower and Midtown Manhattan.
Route 35 and the nearby Parkway and Turnpike connect the city by road in every direction.
