Pool Cleaner Cleaning a Pool

Pool Cleaning Service

Freehold’s mix of historic borough homes and newer township developments means pools here range from compact backyard installations to large custom builds with attached spas and water features. Whichever you have, our weekly pool cleaning service covers the full maintenance checklist on every visit — same crew, same standard, same predictable schedule.

We handle water testing, chemical balancing, vacuuming, brushing, skimmer and basket cleaning, and a full equipment inspection. Our pool cleaning service includes every sanitizing chemical your pool needs, billed at one flat weekly rate with no hidden chemical surcharges.

If your weekends are packed with everything from kids’ sports to Olde Freehold Day, weekly service from Memorial Day to Labor Day is the most efficient way to keep your pool ready without thinking about it. The Complete Maintenance Package extends that to cover your spring opening and fall closing as well.
Swimming Pool Repair Service

Swimming Pool Repair Service

Pool safety covers take a beating in Central Jersey — leaves, branches, snow load, and years of UV exposure all wear them down. When yours starts showing tears, sagging hardware, or anchor points that won’t hold, our swimming pool repair service includes new pool safety cover supply and installation across both Freehold Township and Freehold Borough.

Beyond safety covers, our swimming pool repair service covers pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, salt systems, chlorinators, and pool plumbing. We work on all major brands — Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, Sta-Rite — and supply new equipment at competitive pricing.

Replacing a worn safety cover before winter is one of the smartest preventive moves a pool owner can make. A failed cover lets debris reach the water, stains the pool surface, damages equipment, and can become a serious safety risk if it sags. We’ll measure your pool, recommend the right cover, and install it before closing.

Freehold’s Rich History

Freehold Township was first settled in 1685 by a group of Scottish reformers fleeing religious persecution, and was formally established by act of the New Jersey Legislature on October 31, 1693 — making it one of the three original townships in Monmouth County. The area’s most famous chapter came on June 28, 1778, when the Battle of Monmouth was fought on what is now Monmouth Battlefield State Park — a turning-point engagement of the Revolutionary War that involved George Washington, the Marquis de Lafayette, Alexander Hamilton, and the legendary Molly Pitcher. Freehold Borough was originally formed as a town within the township in 1869 and formally separated as a borough in 1919.

Neighborhoods and Streets

Freehold is technically two municipalities — Freehold Township completely surrounds Freehold Borough — making them one of New Jersey’s 21 pairs of “doughnut towns.” Together they form one of the most recognizable communities in Monmouth County, with neighborhoods that range from historic borough core to large suburban developments.
West Freehold is the largest unincorporated community in the township, with thousands of homes spread across a mix of older and newer developments.
East Freehold sits on the opposite side of the township and includes the Stonehurst East and Stonehurst West neighborhoods.
Main Street through Freehold Borough is the historic commercial heart of the community, home to Federici’s Family Restaurant and many of the borough’s oldest landmarks.
Route 9 and Route 33 run through the township and serve as the main arteries connecting Freehold to Marlboro, Manalapan, and the rest of Monmouth County.

Community and Lifestyle

Freehold sits at the cultural and commercial crossroads of western Monmouth County. The Freehold Raceway, opened in 1853, is one of the oldest harness racetracks in America and still operates today. The neighboring Freehold Raceway Mall has been a regional shopping destination for decades. The community is also forever tied to Bruce Springsteen, who grew up in Freehold Borough and references it in his music — fans still visit St. Rose of Lima Church and Federici’s on Main Street. CentraState Medical Center, a regional hospital that opened in 1971, serves western Monmouth and southern Middlesex counties from its Freehold Township campus.

Getting Around Freehold

Freehold sits at the intersection of several major Monmouth County routes, making it easy to reach the shore, Newark, New York City, or Philadelphia from a single home base.
U.S. Route 9 and Route 33 are the two main highways through Freehold, providing direct access to the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike, and Interstate 195.
NJ Transit bus routes 131, 135, and 139 run along Route 9 and provide direct service to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan.
The Academy Bus Line offers Route 9 commuter service directly to Wall Street in New York’s Financial District.
